Now I’m not sure I want to put this out on the interweb about this liquor mart as it’s my local craft beer store, and for me it’s like being a kid in a candy store, and I love candy, and I’ve got it all to myself! I can go in there and select from the weekly delivers with out fear of them selling out before I get there.
Well the above is not entirely true I do have to share it! It’s popular with all the local craft beer heads on the bayside, it’s got an ever expanding range of craft beers, now exceeding 300, and more and more people are finding out about it!
Part of small chain of liquor marts in the Redland City, all linked to the Grand View Hotel, Queensland’s oldest licensed hotel, the Cleveland store is managed by Craft beer fanatic Trent Best and boasts probably one the biggest selection of craft beer south east of the Brisbane’s craft beer Bermuda triangle.
In the last year or so that I’ve been regularly frequenting the store and the craft beer range has grown from a dedicated fridge and a shelf of 100 craft beers to almost dominating the centre of the store. Not only can you grab bottled beer but there is a kegerator pouring some great kegged beers for growler fills (Founders Dirty Bastard at the moment).
Recently Trent has kicked of a mailing list with his weekly purchases, so drop him a line on 3821 0488 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the list. Better still head to downtown Cleveland (41 Wynyard Street Cleveland) and pay him a visit, then continue on to the Grand View Hotel for lunch (some craft beer there on tap).
Anyhow if you read this please keep it between us, don’t want to many people finding out about this place!
