This beer comes from a relatively new brewery, in Queensland’s Great Southeast,
at Boonah – Scenic Rim Brewery. In operation for around 12 months now, this is one of two beers that they brew. “This brew pays homage to our forefathers who worked and fought hard to build this country, let alone their thirst.”
Digga’s pours a gold colour with good carbonation. The head is quite large, light and fluffy that settles to a low creamy head with good lacing
From the glass you get a yeasty citrus aroma, hints of grapefruit and lemon. A nice bitterness taste, not a high hopped beer, with fruits and hints of spice in the flavour.
Overall a neat sessional ale, could see it going down a treat drinking this in the beer garden on warmer day at the Mount Alford Hotel or like!
