Pours a black colour with a reddish tinge in the light. Not much of a head with a fine creamy lacing around the glass.
As the name implies the aroma is like smelling a lamington straight from the bakery, the chocolate and coconut are the standouts. Flavour wise, it’s great, it’s an alcoholic liquefied Lamington. Amazing how all the flavours are all there – the toasted coconut chocolate icing and sponge sweetness.
It’s quite a light bodied ale and easily drinkable, more so for a sweet tooth dessert lover like myself, hence why I purchased a growler full of the stuff. Yum! Now to find a cheesecake beer and I’ll be set!
